Inter-Compartmental Balance Valve
 
The unique Blast Valves are designed to instantly seal intake and exhaust openings in protected hard shelters, in case an explosion occurs outside the shelter walls. The valves then automatically re-open to allow resumption of filtered air flow through the shelter. In this manner, an outside blast pressure wave cannot force airborne contamination into the protected shelter through the air filtration system.
