Her fifteen years business experience and worldwide network of business and personal connections gives Aurora a distinct advantage in all phases of operation. She is a graduate of Florida International University with a B.A. in Finance

 

Hanley "Doc" Harding -- Executive Director of Operations & Development

With his Navy background during the Vietnam War years, including working on some of the Navy's top projects (AFRSF, AFWR, ASCAC, FORACS and SOSUS), and his many years of Nuclear Security and Police Training experience, Mr. Harding has a unique grasp of not only the global picture of Security and Emergency Operations systems but also of some of their most exacting details. His landmark Nuclear Security Training & Qualification Plan was recognized by the USNRC-Region II as a milestone in the industry and raised the level of security protection for Nuclear Power Plant facilities across the U.S.

 

Art Weissman -- BSEE, MBA, Electrical Engineering Consultant
From his early days as a Quality Engineer, working for General Electric on the Minuteman, Apollo and Space Shuttle programs, where he held a Top Secret clearance, Art has shown a remarkable insight and ability to correctly analyze complex problems. This is evidenced by his designing of the Federal Reserve Bank's (Philadelphia branch) first on-line international currency transfer system.
Art then put his considerable skills to good use at Florida's General Development Corporation, by designing and writing the program for the corporation's tax billing system. At Ryder System corporate headquarters, Art not only spearheaded the development of the system-wide master fleet reporting program, but also created a disaster recovery & business continuation plan which proved its worth during and after a major hurricane.
Art spent the next several years developing computerized systems for the recording industry at FMS, Inc. Most recently, he is a top consultant to E-Systems.


 

Ed Brown -- Law Enforcement Adviser

One of Miami-Dade Police's (formerly Metro-Dade Police Department) most revered officers for thirty years, Ed spent many of those years working to ensure the department received the very latest in advanced professional law enforcement training. Ed's advanced training methodologies even found their way into the nuclear power industry, helping to revolutionize nuclear security training.
As a Sergeant, Ed was given responsibility for supervising the Basic Law Enforcement Training classes and the Police Reserve Training Program.
Having attended Smith & Wesson Weapons Repair School, the FBI's Firearms Instructor's Course and their Hostage Negotiation Course, Ed helped establish and supervised Metro-Dade's Special Response Teams, which were responsible for SWAT training and hostage negotiations.
One of Ed's most notable achievements was locating the site for, and planning and developing, the new Metro-Dade Firearms Training Center, which was dedicated and renamed in his honor in 2000.
Ed closed out his career At Metro-Dade with Uniform Road Patrol in their Field Training Program.
